Hannah McCook wins her first professional competition.
“Congratulations to Hannah Cook for her first professional win in the finale of the Rose Ladies Series at The Grove in Hertfordshire. In an exciting finish Hannah birdied the last hole to jump into a three way play off. The three players then headed back to the 18th where Hannah clinched her win with a nerveless long putt for a superb eagle.
Hannah, from Nethy Bridge, took up the game at Abernethy Golf Club and is a member of Grantown on Spey GC. As a Junior she was a member of Scottish Golf North development squads and continues to be coached by David Torrance who is one of our current SGN coaches. Girls in The North of Scotland Junior Championship play for the The Hannah McCook Trophy, this year to be played at Tain GC on Wednesday 5th July.
